BACKYARD BIRDING THIS SATURDAY

Backyard Birding for Beginners

Come learn about the birds in Galveston’s backyards. This program will cover common birds found in Galveston's backyards for the beginner bird watcher and hints on how to attract particular birds by an avid bird watcher, Pat Jakobi.

Pat is also a photographer who has a blog, www.imagesofgalveston.com featuring photos and field notes from her local explorations. Her photographic images tend to focus on the ephemeral nature of island life and birds. She is a member of Galveston Island Nature Tourism, sponsors of FeatherFest April 12 – 15 of this year.
